- Its sideline should be approx. 1mm to avoid damage.

◎A flawed stone
- A Go Stone with even a tiny flaw, hole, crack is not nice to look at and gives players an unpleasant feeling.
For this reason, we check each stone with careful attention.
- In the present day, even in a world of advanced technology, our sorting staff check the stones one by one and compare them with << the Master Stone >> of KUROKI GOISHI TEN.

We polish Go Stones for about 6 hours in a special barrel, paying close attention to the volume of water used, taking into consideration the weather, size, and amount of Go Stones.
After this process Go Stones will make clear sound when rubbed against each other and will feel nice in the player's hands. |
