Go bowl is made from Yaku-sugi cedar, that is truly rare and most popular material to make the highest quality go bowl.
Complex but very elaborate grain patterns produce true beauty and premium feel. There are a number of serious Yakusugi (cedar wood) collectors all around the world.
Today we are prohibited to cut down all Yaku-sugi cedar trees in Yakushima Island, it will be much rarer in the future market.
