Nice board with specific characters of Hyuga Kaya wood. Reddish-colored beautiful board with close grain patterns.
The board was made by the deceased Master of Yamakawa Go Board Maker, who was a Certified Traditional Craftsman of Miyazaki Prefecture.
There are some dents at the top surface made by the placement of stones. We are happy to provide re-polishing and re-marking service for complementary if required.
Hon-in-Bo Shuho(本因坊秀芳) is Mr. Yoshio ISHIDA(石田芳夫) (9-dan).
